A simple overhaul of troll's skull texture, complete with improved normal and a very slightly revised but completely vanilla compliant (quest related speaking) mesh.
The only drawback using vanilla textures is a variance in reflections that are brighter.
The only drawback using this mesh is that troll's skulls will have a lesser "papier-mache" look being more similar at real bone looking skulls.

As you already must know I made this just for myself and I offer it "AS IS", so do not blame me if, after installing my mod (that's a simple retexture after all), your rig should go nuts for whichever reason.

If you shouldn't like it, this mod only copy into Data\meshes\clutter\bones\ the file "trollskull.nif" and in Data\texture\clutter\bones\ the files "trollskull.dds", "trollskull_n.dds", and "trollskull_s.dds", in that occurrence you only have to remove those files if the mod was installed manually or if NMM should have some troubles for whichever reason (don't say it never happens).

I hope someone could enjoy this little effort to make a skull looks more like a skull, it's a matter of taste after all and is really a little thing but it makes a big difference in recognizing those "flat" item around the world and add a little atmosphere to the game, if you should like it an endorsement would be greatly appreciated.

Update involved injection into mesh shaders property to force load a specular map that gives a smoother feel with less reflections in presence of serious amount of lighting.
