If you don't mind my saying so, I think this mod would benefit from making some unique items. The whole problem with the AF is that the items it makes are, to a large extent, freely available elsewhere so given its remote location and unlikely need to visit the college once you finish the quest, it makes the AF redundant. Having some unique items or removing some of the items from the vendors will give people a reason to go there.

Many thanks for the feedback. I am currently working on a update, which should provide more reason to return at different levels to obtain upgraded gear and I've expanded the variety of potions available.

The new system has more combat so instead of add ingredients for flame atronach staff receive flame atronach staff, it will be add ingredients kill the spawned flame atronach loot a fire related staff with slight possibility of empty corpse or fire salt.

Variations on this theme add ingredients to spawn a spider kill it random job lot of poisons. The animals I have increased their level caps so they might be very tough early on. You usually receive around 10 potions/poisons per kill and they're the top quality vendor ones, like Deadly Aversion to Magic (100% weaker for 30secs).

I'm reluctant to remove items from vendors or crafting, but I will try and add some new consumables that are exclusive to the Atronach Forge. I might add some new potions better suited to mages, something like an Aversion to magic with alot longer duration (because who has time for re-applying poisons when casting.)

hmmm....can't decide if this is overpowered or not. As I never use the AF, I can see why this would help.

I can see where your coming from. I think its about as balanced as I can make it. I sort of envision you'll visit on occasion to restock on some potions. Whilst being self limited in the early game, by how many materials you can find and carry to the Forge to use, and in later game just handy to convert less useful potions into something better. For example the Ultimate Healing potion requires the Potion of Plentiful Healing which in early game, probably won't be in many chests and limited supply at merchants. So whilst it is a benefit to convert what you find into them, hopefully you won't be walking out overburdened with them.

The recipes for the robes and Staffs that I have added, require a bit more effort to create than the original Atronach Forge ones. For example in the vanilla game you can create Flame Atronach Staff with nearly all of the required materials provided for you in the same room or purchased from the merchants nearby for very little. Also the staffs I have have a bit more situational use, and the robes whilst sounding great are not the best for most mage builds.

But please let me know how you find it, all comments are welcome and I can teak the rewards or change the materials needed if required

Downloading and looks awesome! Hey you should link your other mod on this page too. It would encourage people to get them both, as they go great together. Great job!
