Why the improper hand placement on every Master Sword mod? There shouldn't be any handle visible above your hand while holding it, it just looks silly and it makes your character look like an idiot, there must be a way to fix it.
Just curious, but of all the master sword model's I've seen, not once (except one of the Steam versions) had the sword's scabbard. Does this mod have that also?
Trying to get these great mod, love it by the way, big fan- to work with Dual Sheath Redux. Adjusting the mesh itself is simple enough using nif, but I can't seem to find the meshes. They do not appear in the weapons section in Data/meshes/weapons and they aren't hiding in any of the standard folders for vanilla weapons. Just plain missing?
Any ideas on this would be cool, the problem is that I want to be to create the left hand meshe, but without access to the proper directory I can't
Any reason you can think off that the folder hylian would be missing from data/meshes/weapons?
I have the sword, the mod works great, it even loads to the back now after adding Dual Sheath Redux, very link awesome by the way. But, being a bit indecisive, I copied the weapon and made both versions. I would love to be able to dual wield the corrupt and awakened sword and have the swords cross my character's back with scabbard goodness in a crisscross
To reiterate, I'm not sure why the proper folder hylian is absent from data/meshes/weapons.
Okay, had to unpack the bsa, extract the files and put them into data/meshes/weapons/hylian. The point is, I got it working. Thanks for being on hand as I troubleshooted. It looks pretty awesome to have both swords drawn from the back and scabbards remain.
I just want to say, I was looking to build a Link character and your sword mod is the best. Not only for aesthetic, but also for enchantment. Really nice touch modeling the Sword after the dawnbreaker, it really fits with the lore of the Master Sword and tickles me when unholy undead creatures are engulfed in a blinding explosion of holy banishing.
I can not find the sword! I have the skyforge version and i have been all the way to the top of eldergleam sanctuary and it is not there. what do i do?
It may have gotten knocked down, or fallen into the stone because of Skyrim's glitchy physics. I recommend looking around the stone slab that it normally sits in just to be sure, and if all else fails you may have to use the console to spawn it in, using the help and player.additem console commands.
I looked and it was not there and i tried the console commands and that also didnt work. was i supposed to put the files in the data folder? or does it not work well with any other mods
Yes, the files were supposed to go in the data folder. You should also make sure that the .esp is active in your load order, and that it loads after mods that may modify the Eldergleam Sanctuary.
Im sorry nothing has worked and i wish it did because this is possibly the coolest looking mod there is ever. what is the item id just in case i typed it wrong? sorry i am an inconvenience.
Well, I don't know what to tell you. If everything is installed correctly and the mod is active in the Skyrim Launcher's Data Files, there shouldn't be a problem.
At this point I ca'n't help anymore, because I'm out of ideas as to what could be keeping the mod from working.
Ok, so I downloaded the skyforge version, I've found all of the recipes, I've tried using the antrinoch forge and the SKYFORGE, but nothing is working. I would like to purify the sword, but everything I try doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?
I have the perk, I have the ingridients, and I'm at the skyforge. I looked all through the list of craftable items, but I could not find the awakened Master sword on the list.
This mod is awesome there are just a few things that make it look a little weird. When you forge the "Awakened Master Sword" the picture, color pallete, and the size are different when you have the name of the weapon highlighted in the inventory menu. It would also be more symmetrical if you add something like "Awakened Master Sword" in the title of the weapon like you have in the corrupt version of it. Just some thoughts and feedback on the mod. Can you only awaken it in the Dawnguard forge or can you awaken it too if your using the skyforge version? Just some feedback and question on the mod. =D
In the Dawnguard version, you can only awaken it at the Dawnguard forge.
The details you want changed are very minor, and I'm very busy with Relics of Hyrule at the moment, so I ca'n't promise that I'll do anything about them. I don't intend to change the name of the Awakened Master Sword to "Awakened Master Sword," but I may fix the inventory appearance.
