I've been looking for a player house mod for drelas's home. It looked so cozy and its smack in the middle of all of skyrim so it was a convenient spot. Will be tracking this :3
Would it be possible to make a version as vanilla as possible but with a smithing area outside complete with work-bench, sharpening-wheel, tanning rack, forge, chopping block, and a smelter? If it could be covered somehow that would be great too and maybe a chest or two for storage of ingredients and such like. Also could you add a useable garden from the Hearthfire DLC? In Hearthfire you can build a garden in your houses like in Lakeview Manor. You can use this garden to plant crops and alchemy ingredients. That would be super useful for me personally and I'd love to use this house if it has those additions. I hate traveling all over the place for that stuff.
Thank you, Thank you, thank you. I've been wanting that cottage since I first saw it, but since my characters are rather virtuous I didn't have the heart to steal it or the things in it. Thank you again for the mod!
Just finished killing the necromancer Drelas (he's tough!) and wanted to take over his lovely cottage, but could not, as I got a message that I was trespassing and every item in his house is actually under his name. :-(
Immediately headed over to the Nexus here, praying that I can find some mod that made his cottage into a player home. And you've done exactly that and more! Well done, sir!
+1 to the request for a blacksmithing area outside the house, and also a request for a stable, if possible.
The vanilla house itself is too small for followers, but I was thinking I can leave a mage follower behind, so it becomes his own house.
The ElderScrolls Wikia mentions that Drelas may respawn after long periods of time. When you say "the whole house is set as a no-respawn zone", does that mean you changed it to no-respawn, or that was already in the vanilla game?
Even if Drelas respawns later, it is good I think! I am sure my follower can take him out (and it will keep him on his toes, guarding such a nice new home). :-)
