Version 1.2 uploaded along with 3 optional files for you to choose from. Added unenchanted versions of dawnguard armors and weapons. Also revamped description and readme for better readability.
Please report any bugs you might run into that concern my mod. Before doing that however, please make sure that you don't have any conflicting mods that might cause your problem.
This might be because of the mod you use to get the shield on back makes changes to id:s.(I don't use shield on back mods so I might be wrong)My mods unblessed version uses a unique id (because it's a new item), but any mesh changes made to dawnguard items should apply to them.
Hello, just thought I'd mention something i noticed. If you use the mod Improved Closed Face Helmets (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15927/?), The craftable Unblessed Dawnguard Full Helmet from this mod will be the vanilla one and not the one from the other mod. Would be great if there was compatibility between the two mods. I know its something very minor but it bugs the hell out me lol.
With Option 3, am I able to craft right away from the get go when I start a new game, or (as I personally prefer must i complete some of the Dawnguard quests for either the Dawnguards or Vampires?
AS i stated, i do not like to have full access to the dawnguard recipies from the get go, but i still would like to make the stuff, even when i side with the vamps...
So for that, Option 3 is the option to choose, right?
@DibDidDon Option 3 is the only one that allows those who side with the vampires to craft every item. Unfortunately for you it means that they can be crafted from the start. In the vanilla recipes almost all crafting is limited to Fort Dawnguard and there's conditions that track that you you have completed certain Dawguard sided quests. Optionals 02 and 03 make changes to these conditions.
Well, at least crafting them is still perk locked by smithing (Steel and Dwarven). Maybe I could have created separate crafting recipes for every vanilla recipe that needed to be changed. I could look into this if I have time. Problem is that it's been a long time since I played Skyrim and I would hate to make an update that has not been tested in game (Had to reinstall skyrim and I don't even have my old save files anymore)
@Oxytwist I never used Bash for anything really when I modded my game so I can't tell. But I guess that if you could merge the conflicting recipes from different mods you could have the benefits of both or maybe just a broken recipe that doesn't work anymore. If you want my version of the recipe to be active in the game, you have to load it after the mod that creates that conflict.
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but when I try to deactivate the mod through NMM, my game crashes whenever I start it. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just my computer that is screwed up? I know some mods require that you use a console command before deactivating them, but I don't see anything about this written in the description. Can anyone help me with this? thanks.
There are no custom scripts in this mod, so there should not be need for using console commands to deactivate this mod. Your game shoudn't crash before main menu if you uninstall this mod. If the game crashes when you load you save game, make sure you'r not wearing any of the items related to this mod, just in case.
It might be NMM screwing something up, it might be your computer, it might be your skyrim installation(sometimes excessive modding makes skyrim unstable). Of course, it might be my mod, but I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem. I don't know what I could do about that.Oh, one last thing. When you deactivated my mod, could it have screwed your mods load order in some way? (kinda highly unlikely)
At the moment all crafted gear has the same enchantments as vanilla dawnguard equipment. I will add unechanted versions of dg armors and weapons in the next update though as you requested. I'll see when I have the time to get this done. I'll try to update what's going on on the update trough my sticky post.
Thank you for reminding me about this. I'll try to make this happen in the next few days or otherwise I won't have the time to make it anytime soon. Either way, thanks for your intrest in my mod
Thank you for the new file I 'll side with the vampires most of the time in dawnguard so I didn't know I was not getting the crossbows at all. Now I can Thanks again!!!
I downloaded and installed version 1.1 option2 so I could have the crossbow and bolts. For the life of me I can't find them under any category. I found the weapons like axes and hammers under steel as you mentioned. And I found the armor under misc. But no crossbow? Again maybe I'm blind and missing it. And yes I made sure I downloaded option 2 and I am not using any crossbow mods.
You're not blind, thanks to your comment I found out that 1.1 optinal 2 requires you to complete crossbow tech sidequests, which are only available for those who choose to side with dawnguard. If your character sided with dawnguard, you should be start seeing crossbows and bolts craftable at every forge when you have done crossbow tech quests. If you sided with the vampires, you need to download optional 3 (which I just uploaded) to be able to craft everything. I have updated mod and files description to reflect what I learned and to make sure others would know which version to download. This was my mistake from the beginning as I should have done playtesting also with other characters than the one who sided with the dawnguard

I don't know if you could solve that conflict with a Bash patch.
-ThunderTNT?
Main and option 01 don't haves changes to the receipes.

Edit: And 1.2 is out
