What this does This mod changes the book that you read when animated. Meaning, whenever any NPC or the player initiate the reading idle animation the book being read
will be the replacer book you have chosen.
I also recently found that the book chosen is littered through Dragonborn. A very nice surprise for me. So....Dragonborn compatible....check.
why? NPC's reading evil books. That pleases me. More so, I like my characters to read it when I choose to make them read. I like

instructions Choose only one file to install at a time. They are the same texture name. I suggest NMM, though you can use any method you wish. You will need some form of archive invalidation if you don't use NMM.
make one The file is book01a.dds that I modified. I also added a book01aFake.dds to the data/textures/clutter/books for the basicbook01.nif in the data/meshes/clutter/books folders.
Changing the book01a.dds will affect the read animation book. I made a dummy BasicBook01.nif that references an unchanged texture renamed book01aFake.dds. This lets the game still find the texture for WorldObjects. Deleting said .nif will render any brown book with a worn cover as the book of choice when laying in the game world.
Change log v3 Added a "bump map". Makes the books look clean, if that's something you like.
v2 Only the books being read are the chosen books now.
v1 Every basicbook01 is your chosen book. Use only if you want to see them around.
