So I got permission from Gindustries to update and reuploaded the mod. I have done so in Special Edition, but included loose files of the necessary scripts to be used on this old version of Skyrim. I have removed all race edits and added a fake quest that adds the abilities to the player, therefore it is compatible with all race mods and breaks no other abilities.
Is there any chance this could be done for the Legacy Edition? I just put Requiem in and found out to my chagrin that True DragonBorn won't work because of the race edits.
Hello, could you tell me how to use your updated version on Skyrim legendary step by step? i'm using MO2 and don't know what to do with your loose files, should i just copy paste it but use this old esp? or it can be installed just like usual and your SE version esp work for both SE and LE?
It used to work back when it came out. You got pretty good buffs from having a lot of dragon souls. I guess the all of patches and updates made it unusable.
Are there any mods out there similar to this? Maybe ones that aren't broken >3< Can't seem to find a single weapon/armour or general mod that rewards any type of kill (beyond the Accursed Blade - And this) >3>
Eeh, late reply. <3> It was broken as in it never worked. At all (if I remember). Souls ceased to be absorbed, no effects. And nothing I tried fixed it, even when I tried hijacking it through the creation kit.
But I can't remember 100% and it's mean to the author to say this as fact u3u But, that was my experience with it. As far as I can remember at least o,.,o
I figured out why this mod effects every race, such as vampires and such, in an obstructive way: All of these effects are abilities, and to give them to the player, he modified the races to have these as racial abilities. This is less than optimal, obviously, as it would conflict with any mod that modifies races.
If you're at least ok at modding, a solution is to open the .esp in the CK, and remove these race edits(and a few spell modifications he seems to have left in by accident). Then make a quest with a script which adds the abilities to the player character automatically, and runs only once.
If you're completely lost when it comes to modding, you might want to avoid this mod.

Here is the link:
True Dragon Born(by GIndustries) Special Edition
(miraak give only 12 souls )
You can always just unlock your preferred shouts, then hoard your souls and ignore the awful/less useful ones
