We'll go ahead and consider this along the lines of "Not lore friendly" Smelting down nevermelting ice, to then remake said nevermelting ice, seems a bit contradicting.
Thanks for this simple but nice mod, and although I don't use crappy Stalhrim (Aetherium Armor, Weapons and Accessories FTW! <3 ) equipment, some still sell for fine coin when one has the right Speechcraft perks and so forth so yeah, thanks again for this. Endorsed
Does this mod allow you to train your smithing through the smelting of your "unwanted" Stalhrim items? If it doesn't, could that be made possible?
Frostfall isn't my thing (though it does let you train smithing via smelting) and the Meltdown mod hasn't been updates in ages. Heck, I'd love a smelting mod that doesn't require Frostfall or anything besides Skyrim and its official DLCs. o_o
Hey Silvervarin, I like the idea resmelting idea. I have a request though. Could you please add the keyword "LinkWaitUntilTriggered" to the heavy shield's keyword list? It will make your mod compatible with my mod, "Stalhrim Enchanted," and not require you to have multiple .ESPs. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31805/
I like this concept! Could you also add the ability to smith Stalhrim items to the Glass Smithing perk? I like to go down the left side of the Smithing tree!
Thank you for your encouragement While I wouldn't criticize anyone for doing this, to me the dialogue spoken being Ebony but it also being glass would bug my personal sensibilities. However, this mod affects no files besides adding in the capability to melt Stalhrim items down and adds a heavy armor item, so any mods made that do include this feature would be compatible
I'm glad that I could make a mod you find helpful! If there's anything this mod misses in terms of convenient smelting with Stalhrim (I have typed this word so much today that it has lost any meaning it once had) please feel free to let me know. Dragonborn's PC release is new enough that it's likely most mods covering smelting will update eventually if their maintainers still play, but I wanted a full set of Legendary double enchanted stalhrim sooner than that
Its a Dwemer Cape, actually, found in the Cloaks mod. The only downside is that all of them do seem to come enchanted with absolutely nothing, but I didn't find myself needing another slot. They spawn in stacks in some Dwemer Ruins. I found that particular one on the main quest.
