    For some reason this mod is incompatible with Headbomb's Better Sorting, and trying to make a "compatibility patch" - by loading up this mod on the CK - doesn't have the name change happen in-game. Any idea on why that causes it?

    i have a mod installed that gives spells scaling based on points in magicka, up to 150% at +300 magicka. the damage of the base game is f***ing useless beyond belief on harder difficulties so it's definitely nice to have, makes magic comparable to weapons. combined with this mod increasing master spells the way it does though, I'd argue it makes them too strong so yea a version that leaves the base damage would be good.

    Honestly It's pretty depressing how they gutted magic in the last couple games. I didn't even care much for magic in morrowind and mainly used destruction and restoration in oblivion, but the potential was there especially with crafting your own spells. The watered down swill they give you in skyrim is just nonsense. Spells hit a hard cap on damage and skill points do nothing to help, and master spells while good take forever to cast thus useless.

      Please feel free if u would like to convert or know somebody that will. I haven't upgraded to sse yet and my system needs an upgrade. I may do it when my system is upgraded in a few months. Also might remake some mods I made before but lost when my drive died. But yeah, if u decide to convert just credit me as original creator. would actually be kinda nice to know somebody liked my work so much they wanted to convert it to sse

    I just would like to know how you managed to do this.
    I've been at this for days, and I can't figure out how to make them act one-handed. That stupid animation always plays when casting, no matter what I do.

    I just want a mod that changes all master spells animation to the normal animation.
    I wish to do the rebalance myself.

      Removed the ritual tag and changed them to be either hand and altered casting time. Pretty much all I had to do to change it to 1h i think

    I do like this mod, it makes the master spells feel usable again but I just have one thing I don't like. The spells now cast just as fast as any other spell, instant change up time and I feel like that part makes the spells even more broken. Before you had to stand still and cast the spell with a nice animation for the character, the limited mobility is what I didn't like about the master spells but this mod adds mobility back to the spells and I do like that. What I don't like is how the master spells now have no charge time. I think for a spell to be that powerful it needs a charge up time, without a charge up time I just feel like the spells are broken...

      Yes, I do agree, and back when I made this mod I made a bit of an enchanting rebalanced which altered the fortify school enchants to instead increase magnitude or duration. This mod made magic feel quite balanced with melee/archery and also fixed dual enchanting multipliers and removed the enchanting/alchemy/smithing% skills. Unfortunately that drive died and I never had a backup file. Don't plan on remaking that mod now... been years since I have modded or even played skyrim.

    Love the Mod! Thats how master spells should be.Is there any chance to make blizzard ranged like firestorm?

      Unfortunately, i am not an experienced modder. I tried to get blizzard to become a ranged spell but i just couldnt figure it out. So i think it will stay as a Self cast spell unless someone else can make it work for me... feel free if you want to try

      Do you think there is a version of the spells that act like a ticking time bomb, like when you hit a target, the spell detonates with in 10 seconds or something similar to that. That would be awesome too!
