can you update this to .193? I want to use the CTD and Performance patch ENBoost but it requires .193. I Also haven't mentioned how awesome this is recently so I figured I would mention it again.
It is too difficult to keep updating this MOD, because the next day there is a new version of ENB and the old one becomes unavailable.. for this reason I will only be updating to the last "permanently archived" version of ENB, which is currently v13.7.13
For instance there will probably be a 0.194, 0.196, 0.198 etc before Boris finally decides to leave it alone and archive v0.200 or something maybe, and then keep doing future updates in a new release
If you go to the ENB website, and you click on the "downloads" link, and go to TES Skyrim, there will be a list of the latest ENB version as well as the archived versions. That's where you see what's archived.
Yes. At least, any that aren't the latest release. Sometimes he does remove some of them, but the he's pretty good at leaving an archive of "stable" versions. That's the trend, he'll archive the last "stable" version, typically the version that was last updated before the newest feature of ENB. Sorry for late response...
because ENB is now using a "deffered" rendering method wich is incompatible with multi sampling. Some of the best effects will automatically be disabled if multi sampling is turned on, for this reason I have included a second binary d3d9_sFX.dll and its companion file SweetFX_settings.txt, this will take care of anti aliasing and do some color correction, you can also enable edge AA if you like although it can be blurry.. hope that clears things up
skyrim launcher sets iMultiSample to 1 when you turn off anti aliasing.. I double checked just then, at first it was 0, but then after restarting the launcher it went back to 1 again, very strange stuff, also anisotropic filtering is always 1 when off
OK to clear this up, the right Setting for iMultiSample and others is 0 or 1, it doesn't matter For a programmer 0 is nicer (because this value represents "false" as a boolean data type), but the Skyrim Launcher sets it back to 1 anyway so there is no point.. Also the helper mod is not needed, as this ENB does not implement any functions that depend on it.
I am now noticing that in caves and indoor places that things get kinda blurry at even a fairly close distance. Is this intentional because I dont remember this from the previous versions.
that wouldn't work very well because its only really prevalent when moving. Its like a fuzziness at a distance. I know you can see it pretty well in bleak falls barrow on a few parts of it.
hey Freemanhl2! Sorry if I'm helping out here a bit. I hope you do not mind. I'm now used that ENB TWEAKERS support each other a little. best greetings.
Gotta tell ya this is by far the best enb I have come across after testing and playing around with the well slew of presets out there.I will give abit of advice to anyone playing with ugridstoload be careful because getting locked out of a game save can be one horrendous nightmare to unlock lol! (had a save as a lunari ended up with a nord and all skill points were umm just randomly assigned) This occured when trying to lower a a value ex ugridstoload=9 to say 7.

Same for Anisotropic filter.
what is now the right Setting for iMultiSample and others?
I'm confused.
and what is with the helper MOD for the ENB? Is it needed? I guess not, because not said s.th. in your mod page, right?

If in doubt, just follow the instructions
