hello. for some reason mask enchantements can be applied only to helmets that have armor, while "true mages" use robes. can u pls add hoods and circlets to list?
The enchantment on Miraak's robes that includes the tentacle explosion seems to lose its effect once put on a different item. I tried it out and it never triggers. Not the fault of this mod, probably just how the enchantment is designed. Shame though.
I think the reason is the Miraak robes has a script tied to it required for the explosion to trigger, and that script does not carry over to any new item when enchanting.
That feel when you are looking on the Nexus for something very specific and find the exact thing you're looking for. Many thanks.
I'm not sure I like the automatic acquisition of the DLC item abilities, but then again what are you going to do? Bethesda made them so underwhelming that no one in their right mind would waste an item slot to use them. It's like that 2dps vampire health drain. You just stare at it open mouthed wondering what in the heck they were thinking.
Agreed. I'm not a fan of the automatic acquisition either. I would suggest making it so you learn the abilities on equip of the items. or at least making the script an optional feature, either through a menu or by putting it in a separate file.
After getting this mod I can longer use the Skein of Magnus mod and I can't put Miraak's robe enchantment on my armor the only other mod that I have for enchanting is the AGT tweaks for three enchantments.
