I agree with IroncladWill. It would be nice if you just made it craftable at the forge without the justifications. And I can't help laughing at your justification for not making a female version, historical reasons? In a game where you conjure fireballs from your palms and fight dragons and trolls......
Actually, it is already all craftable at the forge. Just need the right perks to do so (Steel Smithing for all the regular components, Arcane Blacksmith for the enchanted sword).
how many norman shield maidens u heard of? some of us enjoy making the game an accurate depiction, and removing the magic. By all means tho let that bleeding heart sing my g
Bloody love this mod. I'm a Norman reenactor, so I was absolutely in love with it! I just wish there was an update for SE. I also wouldn't mind seeing some easter eggs, like books talking about the quarrels between King Richard, and Prince John.
There is another chainmail armor mod for Skyrim and it can be used by females as well as males. Therefore instead of using the Norman one that is only for males, use the one from the other chainmail mod. I plan to try to create my own Norman army that will be garrisoned at my keep and I plan to have both males and females since Skyrim is a fantasy world. (Historically, there were no female knights. In Medieval fantasy, there is both which I like better.)
Hello, I would like to ask permission to use assets from your Normans Skyrim mod, mainly for creating Nord, Colovian, or other Norman-esque attire, as well as possibly recreating helmets from Oblivion. Please let me know!
Is it possible to request a stand-alone mod of just the shield shown in the pictures? I've searched the entire Nexus for a Norman Kite Shield mod, (The shield used by most of medieval Europe in the 10th and 11th centuries) with no luck finding a finished one.
