    ...

I understand that people like to have all their crafting options, but the College is a MAGE college... having workbenches etc. is kind of out of place there since nobody actually wears armor. Only Onmund vaguely looks like he knows his way around smithing stuff, and I honestly don't expect pure mages to be worth anything at crafting, only at enchanting pre-made stuff.

Just a nitpick on the non-magical crafting facilities. This is a specialized college after all, it's like expecting the Dark Brotherhood to have a shrine to Stendarr. >_>

I know this is an older mod, but I have recently downloaded it. Is there any way to put activators on the bookshelves??

    Hey there -
Nice work. Endorsed. I have been using this mod along with 'College of Winterhold - Glory Days' and the two seem to fit well together. Maybe you could team forces or something. Anyway, thanks.

Okay, I'm a bit new to modding, so I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong here:

    Downloaded the file,
    unarchived the file,
added it to my data file,
made sure it was listed in my plugins.txt file.

So far, nothing has changed nor has anything been added. D:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Step by step process: ... Download the file... .
      2. once its down loaded find this folder Computer/local disk (C)/programme files(86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/skyrim/data
      3. now just put esp. file into the data folder stated above
      4. make sure its box is ticked either in the skyrim menu screen in data files or on mod manager.

If that work, also let me know if you dont use steam as the directory will be different .. but really you just have to take out the "Steam/Steamapps/common" bit. and do you have any college mods which may conflict this ?

I play Skyrim using the Cider wrapper on Mac,
and I probably should've mentioned that originally.
      Apologies.. I was a bit absent-minded yesterday.

.. Sorry :/ but i have next to no experience with MAC's as there not my cup of tea, so im afraid i cant really help. Try asking on the forums, ask if theres any difference to installing mods on a MAC? =]

There's not a big difference aside from the directory.

Hey would you be able to add NPCs to the excavation site because for an excavation site there were really no workers, or mages, or scholars it should be bustling with activity

I am for walk thru curtains instead of new doors to avoid confusing the AI of the npc's. I understand that the "Shrine of Magnus" are just a placeholder because now it just look like a Kynareth shrine. May I suggest you replace it with a shrunk down copy of the "Eye of Magnus", bonus cool if it animates. You may want to add more living quarters for the extra npc's as well.

    Finally!
I've been looking for such a mod for a long time: a nice, lore-friendly, not too artificial looking expansion for the College. It really feels a bit more alive I'm enjoying the mod so far, very considerate of you to keep the Arch-mage quarters untouched.
I'm looking forward to see further developments of this !! Endorsed!!
    cheers

What's wrong with sleeping a lot? That's what all the college students I know do.
