Since i am not modding Skyrim or any other game anymore.
This is due to lack of time which i rather spend with my family, furthermore i lost all of my source files due to a HDD failure a year ago, so if you want to decompile or recreate my script files, go ahead, i give full permission to do so.
how do we summon the dragons? the main file esp has no books or anything. doesn't show up in additemmenu and there's no book in tel mithryn or fort frostmoth. searching for the dalfur book in additemmenu says not found. and yes i'm using the main file.
well, seems like the spell book was removed for some stupid reason. the only way to give yourself the spell is with console commands: help "dalfur"
Truly love this mod; makes Skyrim's end-game a HELL of a lot more fun! Being able to see the landscape on the move makes the views so much easier to enjoy. Endorsed and voted. Thanks, Keldis!
Although, I've started getting frequent CTD's whenever travelling somewhere with Odahviing. I can't think of anything that's triggering it: I don't have any other mods that affect dragons except Legendary Dragons; it happens both in and out of combat; sometimes it happens as soon as Od picks me up and sometimes I'll be able to fly all the way across Skyrim without crashing. Does anyone else get these seemingly random CTD's, and can anyone notice a pattern or trigger for it?
So the simple version is just an empty esp for the ini tweak to work. I just want to integrate it into the main inis, but do I edit Skyrim.ini or SkyrimPrefs.ini?
Love this mod! The only issue I've run into is at one point, Dalfur landed in the middle of a group of high level bandits and died before he could take off again. Now the summon power doesnt work, and I'm not sure how to fix it. I would love any help I could get.
hi brother i see video about this mod he say with install this mod other way of fast travel will disable this is true? we can not use your mod with other mods like as Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul (Formerly Complete Fast Travel Overhaul) or Touring Carriages ??? thank you
No, they should still attack whatever you tell them to... although they often take their sweet-ass time flying in circles before they start attacking, but that's a vanilla issue.
Is there a version lying around before the author added the shadow of dalfur thing? I don't want the summonable dragon, and I dislike how he added it to the game. It's not very immersive. Haha. I can remember downloading this back in 2013 when it was just the flying around, but I can't find any old version lying around anymore.
edit: unless what I remember and want is the simple version, that is. I'll try that out. Seems like the .ini file does not allow you to tweak the height the dragon flies at, unfortunately.
This is one of the greatest mods ever. I was moved deeply when I had a flight from Winterhold to Whiterun. lovely dalfur. He is so cute when he says "shall we fly together"
