Sorry i never replied, I have usually encountered bandits with iron boots of waterwalking as early as first or second level very early in the game i know that. About to start a new playthrough which is what borught me back here.
Mind if I make a peculiar request? Do you think you could allow the enchantment to also be applied to, say, rings? I downloaded an armor mod that uses all four body slots (helm, body, gloves, boots) as one armor piece so I can't enchant this onto my character ;_; I would search for another armor mod but this one is PERFECT for my RP character ;^;
Peculiar and selfish request is peculiar and selfish TT_TT
Ok, thought it would be most appropriate to put it on foot only, but expect it somewhere in the near future, i'll see if i can PM you if it's up on the nexus. Edit: 17th of June, ouch. Gonna make it anyway.
Hey there, just downloaded your mod to try it out.
I also have a question, if the enchantment is the same as in Dragonborn, why is Dragonborn not a required master? And if it isn't the same as in the DLC, does that mean we'll have two versions of waterwalking when using your mod?
FYI running TES5Edit 3.0.28 on your esp gives the following identical to master records: Removing: [REFR:0009207A] (places ShipRowBoat01 [STAT:00050368] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of POIPineForest01 [CELL:00009B92] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at -1,-15)) Removing: LItemEnchRobes [LVLI:0010F9B7] Removing: LItemRobesAlteration [LVLI:0010F9AF] [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 37, Removed Records: 3, Elapsed Time: 00:00 [Undeleting and Disabling References done] Processed Records: 34, Undeleted Records: 0, Elapsed Time: 00:00
because waterwalking is already available in the game via potions or from the Dawnguard DLC being a Vampire Lord. And it's a pair of boots in Dragonborn that have the enchantment (that can't be disenchanted) in the first place. All dragonborn did was offer up a piece of armour with the enchantment, not a way to enchant other things with it
The waterwalking "effect" was in the game right from the start, correct me when i'm wrong. With this effect you can make enchantments and spells as well as potions. Why Bethesda choose not to implement it as a spell/enchantment from the beginning is not known to me.
Edit: Those errors are dirty edits, my bad. I hadn't decided yet on where to put the cloth boots (in what leveled list) and the boat was a miss-click. Maybe i will extract those in the future. I need to figure out how to do this first.
Edit: Ok, i've found them and extracted them. There should not be any of those errors any more.
