Like others here I am really surprised to see that, under "description," the uploader has chosen to offer NO ACTUAL DETAILS of what this mod does. None. None at all. Just nothing.
Since he has utterly failed to tell us what his mod is supposed to do, I will step in for him and take up the challenge:
DESC: "Have you ever thought combat in Skyrim was too, well, UN-glamorous? Glamorous Combat fixes all that! Now you can look absolutely FABULOUS while decapitating your enemies! Twirl your sword, strike a pose, do a little dance, it's all possible with Glamorous Combat!!! No more boorish grunting sounds when you swing your war hammer at someone's skull! Now, with Glamorous Combat, you can hear yourself say things like "Oooh La La!" and "Tres Magnifique!" just before you bash their brains in!
Remember: just because you might be PLAYING a barbarian doesn't mean you have to LOOK and sound like one! Why not add a little style and flair to your game? Be fabulous! Try GLAMOROUS COMBAT today!"
There. How's that? I have NO idea if my description is at all accurate, since I'm not going to bother to download something when the uploader can't be bothered to tell me what it is, but my description STILL gives you more information that what this page currently offers.
I see this line in the description page: "So basically yoo203 made a simple .esp file that enables a higher chance of inflicting a finishing move."
That pretty much sums up what this mod does for me. Now, I don't know if that's an accurate description or whether I understood it correctly, but if the description is not to the level of detail one would expect, it's certainly more than "[n]one. None at all. Just nothing".
And then, of course, if you read on, the following sentences on the description page suggests that this mod indeed sets the killmove chance to "100" (which does not necessarily mean that a killmove will be triggered 100% of the time, according to the explanation) and chance of decapitation to 50 or 75 (which again probably does not represent 50% and 75%, respectively) depending on which plugin you use.
Did Ausrivo add those after you guys made these comments?
Now, the real question is, if I understood that one-liner correctly, why one would use this when there's already a few killmove mods, like the dance of death, that allow you to adjust killmove chance? And in game through MCM at that, not hard wired into a plugin like this mod is. Well, true, those mods are heavier, and I suppose a mod like this would have audience with people who simply want to adjust killmove chance and don't care for new killmoves or any other fancy stuff.
This is perfect, up until now i was using the bat .txt file method and always had to type in bat 1 in console to get my 100% and 50% killmove/decap rate, now its even easier thanks to this .esp file. Thanks
