Got tired of console commands every time I had to reload. another carryweight mod I was using stopped working. Relieved to find this.
I did wonder initially whether that "700300" carryweight was a bit OTT, but have to say, it's been nice to be able to do dungeon after dungeon, be on the other side of Skyrim, etc, and not have to worry about how much one picks up.
Sorry to be this guy, but... You can just do Player.modav carryweight 90700. Or forceav. Both are permanent to a save file, and take, what, 10 seconds to type in at the start of a new game?
Yeah you can, but this is not what the mod is meant for. This is for people who prefer to have a mod instead of fiddling around in the console, like players new to TES, or players coming from Console to PC.
Or that, yes. I did not publish this mod for consoles yet because it needs the ingame-console for uninstall. So a console player would not be able to uninstall the mod right now. Have to build a solution for that first
Some people seek another way of immersion than you do. That is what mods are for after all. I ask for forgiveness that I simply ignore that realism part (Realism in a fantasy game? come on!). But this might be something you would like to read:Mod Downloading, Rating Etiquette and proper Criticism Ah, btw, you seem to have nice little mods there. Gonna give some of them a try
To me the regular system does not add immersion anyway. I can carry 5 full sets of armor in my pocket, but a 6th one OH NO that is TOO much! Not really immersive either way lol. I find the carry weight limit just inconvenient and pointless. But that is just my opinion
Late to the party, I I have to say this is a great mod. Simple, but great.
I used to do "player.setav carryweight 9999" like you, until I found this mod.
I need to open the console after every load, this does it automatically for you. You can open the Magic menu and see the active effects list to find this mod's effect.
And maybe you will find out later that "player.modav carryweight ###" does the same job, but credit is where credit is due!

Happy with how this has been working. Thumbs up.
