how do u customize the damage? i am heavy modded and my difficulty is more than legendary, enemies have 10000+ health, the energy attack only hit around 90-225 damage per hit...
I like your mod and I've used it for a while now but I can't keep it. Remember the daedric greatswords in every chest of every player home? Well, those chests override even mod-added chests sometimes. I was trying to get some spell tomes from the Druid Essentials mod and your swords turned up instead, even with Druid Essentials placed last in the load order. So I'm going to take it down for now. EDIT: Ok, so I must be blind as a bat, I've found what I was looking for but the chests complicate things unnecessarily. Sorry for the confusion.
Apologies for that one. I must have been experimenting with making the effect able to be used on normal weapons, and forgot to clean it up before release. I'll make sure to NOT have something reliant on a vanilla chest in any possible future mods that I may or may not create.
Out of curiosity, which version of the mod are you using? Because there are multiple .esp files included, and only one of which should be active at a time.
Forgive me if this is something that has already been answered, but does the damage for the blade scale with level or two-handed skill? I'm asking because I downloaded the main file and got the 100 dmg version in my game. My two handed skill is low but I have a high over all level. I'm asking this because I didn't see any optional files, or in game options, to choose what version of the sword I got.
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Haven't actually touched this mod since... well, since the last version was released, actually. But the damage doesn't actually scale at all. Depending on the .esp you're using, you'll get a set damage-boost to the amount listed on that .esp file. I'm not nearly proficient enough to be able to create a mod that scales to that effect, nor am I really planning on doing so any time soon.
I like this idea, and I know this is old, but I'd love if there were a version that was slightly more balanced with the sword- it definitely needs to be more powerful than it is normally but 200 does sound cheat-ish. It'd be cool if there were some way to make the bonuses and special effects from unique artifacts scale with level. Its so disappointing to find all this cool loot but its actually weaker than my crafted gear.
Remember the potion-loop glitch where you take a potion of Fortify Restoration, increasing an enchantment on your armor? Did that with Smithing/Alchemy, so as to keep going past a fortification of 45 on all possible pieces of armor.
Have you already fixed the bug that Daventry was talking about? I'm a little afraid that these bugs will crash my skyrim so I haven't downloaded your mod yet. Sorry for the response, just wanted to let you know.
I'm afraid you'll have to be a little clearer than that. If you mean the shots of energy that come from the blade, then it's either BLOODSKALPROJECTILEHOR or BLOODSKALPROJECTILEVERT in the CK. Or something to that effect.
They can be found under Magic Effects I think. Can't remember off the top of my head.

Just avoid using that one if you can, and it should be fine. If not, tell me and I'll see what I can do.
