Sadly, didn't work for me. He stands there with that tenticle stuck in his brain.
I'm thinking it has something to do with the female follower Frea, I had her placed at lakeview using My home is your home mod.I think she becomes "fixed" at home during this quest and if you have changed that (say...to Lakeview manor) then you mess things up. I tried to get her to follow me from Lakeview Manor but thinking she was "home" she wouldn't follow me because as she put it... "I'm needed here". So there is the conflict (I'm hoping). My solution will hopefully be going back BEFORE I read the 3rd black book and taking her back home before I finish that quest. I'll keep you posted.
please port to xbox one, ive been on google for hours trying to find a fix but to no avail. ive tried reloading an older save, pushing storn off the cliff, doing other side quests, attacking him, CONTROLLING HIM (with the cheat spell) ive literally tried everything on google and its so f***ing frustrating...

EDIT: Right I thought I did it wrong, but it did work now... for those now knowing it: place it in the Skyrim/Data map like any other mod.
