This is almost what I wanted. Does anyone know how to disable the Dpad (and only the Dpad) on the controller so I can use my mapped keys with the controller with joytokey. Essentially I want my 8 hotkeys without pausing the game similar to the Oblivion system.
This mod is great, and works pretty well, but I seem to be having issues with dropping things and the final "craft" button on smithing and the like. I think it's due to my custom controller set up (which moves attacks from the triggers- just cause it feels better after growing up with oblivion and morrowind) and not being able to do that is a dealbreaker. Any ideas?
It's an Oldie, but a Goodie. I endorsed right after first using this, but never realized it was the only simple and working mod of its type, till I lost all my mod archives, and had to hunt this gem down or find a suitable replacement. This is pure plug and play, does just what you want, right out the box, with no funky s#%t. Wish I could endorse again.

im having some issues trying to get this to work. the z shout key works fine allowing me to use thummic and my controller. im now trying to set my hot keys for the controllers mouse left and right as buttons also make use of the not used ps4 button. i enterd the hot key in skyrims menu then added the key to my controller so far so good works in fire fox and note. so then i add it to a mod and try using it in game and i get nothing. know what im missing?
ok.. soo after unplugging the controller in game and setting the hotkeys to 12345678 my self it worked. then after i saved and restarted it now dosnt work.
sweet. i finally remembered to track down this mod. hopefully, i will remember to come back and endorse. i tried it for a minute and it works. woo! Edit: after my billionth reinstall attempt (unrelated to this mod), i remembered to endorse. _thumbs up_
