This mod is well... useful for "roleplay"ers who like to think they're woodcutters and as such cut wood.
I just find that woodcutting is incredibly boring, and for what it's worth, doing a job in a game that you play when you're not doing your job is meta as hell. The obscene amount of gold seem to be a good incentive to actually do that, but then again it defies logic, so yeah. Both sides have points.
sure it nets you a lot of money but chopping wood for half an hour for a decent amount of gold is annoying and boring unless you got a mod that does it till your bags full then you just afk till its full. i can see this mod beings used by people who want the game to be as hard as possible or to make it obvious not to chop wood
Woodcutting is pretty much necessary if you're playing a hardcore roleplay type of character, and I feel this mod will add a touch more immersion to my game. I'll have to remember to come back and download this.
I hadn't really thought of this, but you're right. Reversely, picking crops gives you an abysmal amount of money, too. Cabbage is worth 1 Septim each I believe. Wheat, on the other hand, is worth considerably more. The difference being is there's not an infinite supply of wheat to collect.
I think that woodcutting is terribly boring as well, I only set my character do so when I'm going to be away from my keyboard. But I found that the large amounts of shiny, clinky coin were a bit of a guilty temptation.
It shouldn't - I did not edit anything with the prices of vendors or merchants, only values for the job - but if anything like that happens, please let me know. ">

This only reduces the amount of gold you get when you turn the woods in? Not the value of the wood itself?
