I recommend installing with the Nexus Mod Manager, tis always the easiest way
If you're going to install manually, just drag and drap the .esp and the scripts folder into your Skyrim/Data folder. The script is indeed required, or else the sealed door will never open no matter how many keys you have.
P210 - thanks for the feedback, and glad you enjoyed it! I hesitated about putting more loot in there. Each individual treasure map chest is a boss chest by itself, so they're good rewards, but not overly spectacular. I was afraid to go overboard with the Hoard. But some gold ingots would not go amiss, you are right about that.
For a truly ridiculous treasure hoard, well, see the Vault of the Old Slayer
I finally got around to the 11th key and made my way to the Serpent Stone. I was expecting more treasure than I found but it was still fun collecting all the keys and finding the stash at the end. I think that perhaps you should add some gold ingots and other valuables to the stash to make it really feel like a hidden vault of loot. But still endorsed for the fun! Thanks Al.

Yes, I really should! It's certainly occurred to me. I simply have not gotten around to it.
