this is my favorite mod for river wood so well done i can't play Skyrim without it. the feel of giddiness when you walk into it for the first time is warm and just beautiful and the layout compliments it well, very well done
Just in case, if like me, someone else is bothered by the effect of the lights coming out of some houseĀ“s windows: Open Tes5Edit, double click on the mod, wait for it to load and in the left tab select the mod again. Go to Worldspace and look for cell 00009712 to deploy it, find the files FXAmbBeamSlowFogBig01 and remove them. Then look for cell 0009731, deploy it and remove the FXAmbBeamSlowFogBig01 files. Close Tes5Edit. Done
The purple textures could mean missing textures. Try re-installing the mod with the mod manager you use. If that doesn't help, download the mod manually and then install it.
Another reason could be that your game is running too many 4k and 2k textures. If that is your case, Optimizer Textures can help you: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801
I checked out the updated mod you suggested.. but I actually prefer this mod to the updated one honestly. I like the rocky roads and everything.. (although I have a vanilla game saved up until after the meeting with Ralof, Gerdur and Hod so I don't ever see the navmesh issues with the npc's walking from that meeting but I know they're there) but some others may prefer the updated mod. Thanks for giving us a heads up and pointing us to it!
