My new version should be perfect, it runs a hell of a lot better on my machine and I don't get any of the armor blackening bugs. So I hope it works and every one like it .

Looks good but I have a similar problem to these comments. My weak GPU only shows multicolored items for all of the armors and helmets. I will give the old version a try. Skyrim only has a few Viking/Saxon/etc. mods and I am doing a weapon & armor overhaul to match as best can (for the male armors that is ).
I have been trying to find lamellar armor like this for ages! How have I not known about this mod before now? One thing though... I'd really rather have the lamellar cuirass without the chainmail. I wanna dress my dragonborn in iron or bronze lamellar with leather pauldrons and tunic, to give him more of a "ranger" sort of look. Chainmail would is too shiny for a woodsman XD. How about it? Wanna put together a "Viking Ranger Armor"?
Since the update I have been able to run this with very little trouble, though I have had to turn off other mods to make more memory available. My machine's fault not the mod. But I have run into a new amusing glitch. Since this mod also puts the new gear on random bandits and such, a few of them now and again are showing up naked. I can only assume that the mod is trying to put this gear on them instead of their normal gear and missed, so they have nothing on.
I have been able to get it to work now, though I did have to turn off some other mods to have enough memory available. I started by trying to use the old version first, which worked, and then I updated when I saw your note. A couple of glitches I am still dealing with. Lag when running the cursor over the name of an item before the picture of it will load, in some cases the picture does not load in the description window, but over top the text of the item instead. But the items do look okay on the characters, no more rainbow coats. :-)
Is it possible to pick and choose what armours you want? The Hauberks look awesome, but the Lamellar don't really fit in (although the Rus' used it...).
i think that Rus was what the tribes of today's Russia and Ukraine called the Norse vikings that went into today's Russia and later settled there you don't here about it as often but the Norse men where weary active in the east and many settled there. And Lamellar armor have actually been found from the viking age here in Sweden but the vikings where legendary traders so the Lamellar found could weary well originate from the east allot of other artifacts from around the world are found here they have even found things from places like the middle east and Asia are found from time to time
Great-looking mod! I have a suggestion. Could you make a version that replaces the unedited parts of the clothing pattern (i.e. the bottom of the female chainmail) with a flannel/plaid pattern? Thanks!

The mesh is there but the skin isn't.
how do i fix this
And Lamellar armor have actually been found from the viking age here in Sweden but the vikings where legendary traders so the Lamellar found could weary well originate from the east allot of other artifacts from around the world are found here they have even found things from places like the middle east and Asia are found from time to time
