I always thought that the basic falmer armor was ugly as sin, but your wood texture makes it hella boss. I edited it a little bit to use it in an armor mashup for Forsworn Briarhearts. I hope it's okay that I've uploaded it to Special Edition since that's what I play:
Try a manual download and install rather than NMM. (I don't think I set it up for NMM ?)
If I remember right you'll just need to unzip the content into your data folder. Also if you have any re-texture mods best load this last to get it working.
You know what I got mega excited when i heard about this because its another of those ''it should have been in there from the bloody start'' mods, that and i always play bosmer characters, and yeah you know its a falmer paste over, but strangely enough i don't seem to care because its the idea of it that really does it for me, this being said however it needs a little love, not much! but just that little something more, extra engraved spirals perhaps? or spriggan gauntlets that do extra damage, or a spriggan skull head piece? this has enormous potential! please show us how much
hey mike. first, that thingy looks pretty cool... but, is there no way to make that stuff craftable? one unique simply isnt enough for me ... and no, i hate the console
Ok I tried a manual install and its still not working, it works just fine on a female body though. I also noticed that the gauntlets does something to the hands, makes them glow in the dark. I Think you might just have forggoten something.
Checked the files and I can't replicate your particular problem so pretty sure the upload has all the necessary files and I'm thinking this is more than likely a mod conflict.
All I can suggest from here is to place the mod at the bottom of your load order and make use of Wyre bash to merge any other conflicting files.
Beyond that I guess you may need to go back to an older save game or better still start a new game if this issue is persisting through a problem save.
I'm not doing any new mesh work, just some texture work so sorry to say I'm not planning to make a heavy spriggan armour set. I also do not own Dawnguard, so I don't have access to the Heavy Falmer Armour mesh to do a retexture.
If you search Nexus there is definitely one mod I saw some time ago that had a spriggan face mask, so I'd suggest searching for that.
I have a feeling there might be Spriggan armour in a DLC, swear I saw an empty entry for a Spriggan Shield in the Creation Kit ! Fingers crossed for Beth
Actually, the "Spriggan Shield" is just an invisible shield that spriggans use to block. The Elder Scrolls Wiki (wikia, not uesp) has a page on it. Nice mod, btw.

That should fix it.

Thanks for the feedback
