I like the design, but the textures still need a bit more tweaking. If I knew how, I'd offer a hand, but I'm still at the level of making simple followers.
Oh, and do play with the UV map if you have more time.
I didn't spend much time fiddling with the seams (the main seam should be at the underside of the sword, but I picked side because it's faster), and I didn't test render the model with sample texture, so I'm not sure how well the edges fit.
PS. Since I assume it's a metallic/reflective weapon, I'd suggest that you also add a specular map to the mesh, and maybe use chitin_e_ebony or the chrome_e cubemap, depending on the type of reflectiveness you are after. (Don't forget to copy the specular to the alpha of your normal for more refined outcome)
This looks like something I would want on my back Will be tracking and DL'ing when this is finished. Good job so far newzangetsu91, I award you your first Kudos for this great looking weapon.
Oh, and good job to the below user, spawngregory, for pointing out the flaw in the first posters comment....eventually, people will learn to read before they make such comments and show their own lack of intelligence.....yo, lol.

Hi, I did a quick UV map for you, hopefully it'll help. Just go and grab some textures and you should be set.
