@soutear Thanks for posting this bit about the female use of these armors! I may try it.

I just read the post from the creator about samurai not being female.
    -----------------------------------------------
@DanielxD not to sound sexsist, but women werent allowed to be Samurai. The closest to that were Onna Bou-Geisha they were women trained to use a naginata to defend house and home. Secodly the original mod did not have female models. But your female character may still wear the armor. You just wont see her curves.
    -----------------------------------------------
I have this to about that:
Skyrim is all-for women being totally equal to men. Some people are a bit racist but there's no sexism in Skyrim.
Women fight, hold rank in the military, hold positions of great power and are respected equally with men. That said, if Samurai existed in Skyrim (closest thing they have is the Akaviri so they sort of do) women would also be Samurai, just as much as men would be Samurai. I am fully aware that in Japan women were never samurai but this is Skyrim, not feudal Japan.

And I apologize for the confrontational tone and for venting my frustration here but I am officially annoyed. It's like, if we don't want uber-sloot, all we get is dumpy, "just deal with it," bull-crap. I've been searching for hours for some nice, Japanese influenced armor mods and this is all I have come up with.
"It works, doesn't look great, but doesn't like like s#*!, so shut up and deal with it."
I found a nice kimono mod but no bloodydamn armor. Unless I want Miyu the Mostly-naked Amine Character. I just may be pissed off enough to finally see if this stupid little system can handle mod creation.

On a side note, despite my irritation with the whole of the Nexus right now, this armor mod looks pretty effing awesome. I may endorse it if I end up trying it and like it in game. So, yeah. Good job.

thats good point of view, but we as user who enjoy mod and pay it with only good comment we cant do much.
we should respect what modder throw to us.

ofcourse you can give modder an order what they must do if you pay them and they work for you.
if you donate them and expecting they mod for your taste, can be acceptable tough.
but as long you just eat what bone they threw at you, just eat it or begone.

about sexism, there is always sexism in skyrim, but somewhat underrated.
as long there is difference between male and female there is always sexism, since human mind and social construct was based on empiricial thing.

anyone born into a samurai family were considered samurai , including females , who were expected to not only learn how to fight efficiently but were expected to fight and die if necessary . There are also famous female samurai from history such as Gozen Tomoe who fought in the Genpei wars of the 12th century alongside Minamoto Kiso no Yoshinaka ....

Tomoe was especially beautiful, with white skin, long hair, and charming features. She was also a remarkably strong archer, and as a swordswoman she was a warrior worth a thousand, ready to confront a demon or a god, mounted or on foot. She handled unbroken horses with superb skill; she rode unscathed down perilous descents. Whenever a battle was imminent, Yoshinaka sent her out as his first captain, equipped with strong armor, an oversized sword, and a mighty bow; and she performed more deeds of valor than any of his other warriors. A bit late, but I just to want to add to the comments about Tomoe Gozen . I just seen a episode of a show called Ancient Assassins: Season 2, Episode 4 (Beautiful Samurai) which talks about Tomoe Gozen. A good episode and the armor she's in looks great. Just slight recolor of one of these set would be all that's needed to match the yellow color of the armor from that show.

I love the armor in the Oblivion mod and looked decent on female characters too because how the game engine worked.

My only issue with the armor in Skyrim, and it with female characters, is that it looks a bit bulky. A thinner/more slender set based on the male mesh would be all that would be needed to fix that for female characters.

on side note: is there any Skyrim mods that have Japanese style bows and arrows

I'm sorry but I agree with your point of view too much to not let you know , that in the late 12th century during the Genpei War Shogunate their lived a renowned female named Tomoe Gozen. Known for her bravery SHE was a samurai before and during the Feudal time period of Japan. Im too much into japanese history to accept the fact that this "creator" hasn't the slightest idea about ????? (onna-bugeisha) or female martial artists descending from a long line of nobility conscripted by daimyo as Bushi and in turn are a part of the Bushi. Or way of the samurai. All throughout the fuedal period female nobility has attended in battle alongside male counterparts(both samurai), although this was mainly only in times of need, the fact remains... Sorry for my rant but gdm people can be oblivious to history

I'm making an Assassin's Creed armor mod/mashup and I was wondering if I could get in contact with the original mod maker? I'd love to use some of the pieces from this mod as parts for mine, obviously I would credit him, as it's already better than what I can do. If not I understand.

I'm new to installing files manually. I have, until recently, only used steam to get mods for my game. I see a .bsa, .esp, .txt, and a data folder, and in the data folder I see a .bsa, .bsl, and an .esp. where do I put all these files? Also, why are there two /bsa & .esp files with the exact name? Wouldn't one overwrite the other? Please help. I'd really like to use this armor in my game.

People should be happy that I made it so woman could wear the armor. Half of the Modders on nexus make Armor for women only. I could have left this one for the men but I didn't. I didn't make the armor, I simply Uploaded the mod. If anyone wants a curvy female version of this mod. Learn to use the proper programs and do it yourself.

Some textures are static (patches of unreadable content, bugs), any way to fix that?

I believe the issue you experienced is resolved. Some textures lacked mipmaps for low quality users. It has been fixed.
