The only things in common are the servants hiring and tasks, but TES5Edit does not show problems there. So, they should work well together and be complementary. Anyway, a bit of testing is advised. You can also try changing the load order if you find any problem.
lol, I finally delved into using this mod more in teh last couple days so I'm going to spam this place with questions and comments now.
1) How can you assign beds to hirelings who don't move around the house to get close enough to a bed? Like the miner or bard. I can't move when I choose the "let me show you where you sleep" option, but the bard rarely wanders upstairs and the miner won't go in the house on their own. Secondarily, at most you could have 5 non-child NPCs in the house (housecarl, steward, miner, bard, and spouse) but there are only 4 adult bed spots available (the double bed on your side of the upstairs and the 2 single beds on the opposite side). And it doesn't appear that you can have them sleep in the child beds created in teh bedroom wing. Is there a supplementary mod to add more beds to the house or replace the child beds with adult ones?
2) I took Brelyna from the college to be my Steward in Windstad and now she will no longer follow me. She has all her steward dialogues about making purchases or improving the house, but "follow me, I need your help" has disappeared. Is this a glitch or does this mod's added steward features require them to "retire" from active adventuring?
EDIT: Thinking that perhaps the steward issue was a conflict with some other mods that made alterations to a small group of followers that includes Brelyna, I loaded an old save and hired several other stewards that should and shouldn't be impacted by other mods, including Annekke and Ingjard from the Dawnguard. All of them lose their follower ability once they become Stewards. It's entirely possible that another mod is causing the issue, but it'd likely be a random weird interaction rather than a pair of mods clashing over how they are meant to impact the game.
EDIT 2: I think I've got it. Turns out to be a really stupid issue. The wealth of added Steward duties looks like it creates too many dialogue choices and it actually prevents me from scrolling all the way down using the mouse wheel. I have to hit a keyboard key for down (the down arrow or S key) to continue scrolling through additional steward options and finally "follow me, I need your help."
Also, for anyone that's hiring other NPCs to be housecarls, I've found that you only get housecarl dialogue if the NPC's voice type matches the voice sets that have housecarl dialogue (ie the voices assigned to the various pre-set housecarls). This means that if you want a custom housecarl, they have to use one of the following voices:

Is there a way to add other bards to whatever faction makes them able to be hired for your homesteads? Default for this mod you can only hire Illdi, Aia Arria, Ataf, and Jorn. But I'd love to be able to hire Pantea, Lisette, Lynley Star-sung, Luaffyn, or Karita.
I am having a problem where bards from college, once hired, don't have voices for requests, break and play different instrumment. They also don't have a bards routine, they just walk inside the house, playing idle animations when stop
