I cannot temper this weapon at all. I have Daedric Smithing & have tried tempering it at night but each time I try, the option is always grayed out. Doesn't matter the time of day/night. Why?
Update: Nevermind. Finally figured out what the time had to be. Your description has a typo, hence why I was confused. Instead of 11 pm - 12 pm, it should be 11 pm to 12 am. That's what threw me off. At any rate, endorsed.
It looks wonderful. Tho I think that Crescent needs (and deserves) it's own set of animations and killmoves. Did you think of collaborating on mod with someone who could help with that?
I agree, but there is only one mod called 'Spears by Soolie' - new animations and maybe killmoves, but it works only for a new weapon type...it's really hard, but possible to achieve the same results(new weapon type\animations) for crescent but thing is...crescent is unique weapon which means too much work for one weapon. I don't know how hard it is to add a new weapon type, but it should be a real pain in the ass, because only one man managed to do it after many,many years...mod is quite new ~1+ year old. Another problem is new, goodlooking animations...it's not an easy task to say the least.
Actually, it's pretty easy to get this working for animations. As long as you have found suitable animations you could add it to a FNIS PECA 2 folder and activate it in the MCM menu. I've done that a few times for custom rapier animations. Hell, I'll do it for you as long as you find the appropriate animations.
