The armor looks pretty good. Although it would be better if the female kilt was longer.

Is there any way to make this its own item, instead of a re-texture?

If you're still around the Nexus and still interested, that is something that I could very well do for you.

Male armor, awesome. Female... the skirt is all torn and mini-skirt-ified... why?? It would look better if it were the same as the male, its not like the armor base is skimpy or something and you're trying to preserve that. Hoping you'll make a longer skirted female one, but not holding my breath.

I am primarily a Photoshop junkie, and am completely lost on 3D modelling (I'm also only just back to playing Skyrim after having bought a computer that could handle it.) The mini-skirt look of the armor is from the default mesh in Meshes.bsa, with a new texture laid over top of it.

That said, if anyone feels like extending the skirt in Blender, I'd be more than happy to create (or attempt; I'm still iffy on the layout of the flat image and how to attach it to modified points in the mesh,) the texture for it.

Oi, sir, if you would be so kind as to make a legitimate belted plaid (great kilt) for skyrim and/or oblivion, I would be forever in your debt. I would also suggest single color plaids (as not all plaids were tartan pattern).

I was just thinking, would it look any good with the flaps with their original textures?

@KingKaulitz: Figured it out. When I uploaded the texture, I didn't re-render the Normal Map (those pesky little "[name]_n.dds" files) and I'll be doing a new re-texture and put it up over the next couple of days. Trying to figure out another little problem I'm having with NifSkope involving transparencies with the color of the mesh even with invisible texture portions. Looked like having a long-sleeved shirt under the armor. Pretty lame, but if I get that figured out, I have a neat little change I'm making to the armor.

@cassidydorman Yep that's it, thanks for your reply. It's really no matter if you can't fix it, I just thought I'd point it out.
