I don't think so since the author's latest replies here are from May 2013, and then there was the question raised by the user DanielCoffey (in October 2013) about updating this mod in order to turn it USKP-compatible, a question (until now) left unanswered by the modder.
The mod is finished, bug free, so no more work on it, translations are ok if free of course. And if someone desires to make a path for better skill and quest books, the community will thank you.
I wanted to thank you again for this terrific lore immersion mod. And as a bookworm, especially for bringing back fond memories of my Morrowind and Oblivion adventuring days.
Also for anyone who is a book lover, you should check out
Book Covers Skyrim (for all 3 DLC books. This mod also works with the Morrowind/Oblivion books from this mod as well!): http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35399/?
The Seaside Library: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32558/?
All of these work seamlessly with this mod and I haven't had any issues to date!
Looks great, love the additions. My only problem is on the 36 Lessons of Vivec. You have the lesson numbers spelled out, so they get sorted alphabetically by the spelling of the numbers. If you changed them to actually use the numbers, they'd be sorted properly (provided you did 1-9 as 01-09). Just a suggestion.
It is lovely to see the extra skill books but this mod omits an important change from the Unofficial Skyrim Patch and could do with updating.
Skippy's Book overhaul.esp - Non-Player Character (Actor) - - 000136C3 Filnjar - - - VMAD - Virtual Machine Adaptor
The entire VMAD block from USKP needs dragging into Skill Book Overhaul.
Some of the books it adds are now present in the Dragonborn DLC (Bone vols 1 and 2 for example) and some vanilla books have unchanged titles such as the two 2920 volumes so "First Edition" suffixes may be appropriate for them. Some books that have a "v2" suffix actually contain the same text as the vanilla book of the same title such as A Tragedy in Black.
Hmm, seems like the mod needs a few tweaks. Good to know.
If the modder is still around and paying attention to the posts, I'd like to ask how much compatible this mod is with Tamrielic Lore [books mod, if i remember the name right] - since it adds books from both oblivion and morrowind to skyrim, maybe it adds skill books too.
Endorsing and one small question, are books added by this tagged by Unread Book Glow (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10012//?). I think they are, maybe I just haven't noticed.
I haven't heard of the mod until just now. I don't know how Unread Book Glow works but I will download the mod and see if my books glow if they haven't been read.
I've looked at everything about Skyre and even though I haven't tested it, it should work fine with the mod. SkyRe does not edit skill books in any way and the dungeons the books are in. The two my mods won't cause conflict (:

Is this mod compatible with Better Skill and Quest Books Names (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10125/) ?
If not, do you plan to make it compatible ?
Thanks!
