Sorry about no info the last couple days. I've been busy with online tests.
So I did manage to do part of an iron war axe skin, but I didn't like how it turned out so I scrapped it. I'm gonna try to squeeze in the axe and maybe another weapon today, but I have tests to do as well as creating a new minecraft map for my server... so no promises. I will have tomorrow to do skins if I do not go out.
You doubled the res but somehow it looks like it lost detail and is the same res as the old ones. Also more people would like it if you simply stick to the original design but make it more detailed and higher res.
Try to search the internet on reflection maps or alpha channels. I used to know how to do it; something in nifscope i think, but ive forgotten now. While your textures ARE an improvment, they still dont fix the problem i am having with skyrims items. They dont reflect light the way metal should. By altering some variables in nifskope, you can increase the reflective surface and make your textures seem more like metal. This is especially important with steel, as any good steel weapon or item should reflect light very well, especially if polished.
Ya I only have the dagger complete. I guess I should have explained that a bit better in the description. I will be adding more and more as I go on, probably re-doing/updating some also.
I think in the next version I will add 3 more weapons.
The daggers look great. Good to see original works instead of just upscales! I do have a question though, are all weapon textures complete or are you still working on them? It sounds in your description like you're still working on them, & if that's true then you should put a list of what weapons you have completed as you get them done/added.
I'll probably use your pack once it's more completed, I don't really care for daggers though, so if that's all you have finished then I'll just wait for textures that I actually use.
@cryfreedom66 I double the resolution of the image and then make an original texture. I scrap the original and cover it with a base color right off the bat.
@NECooley Yes you are correct, and thank you. This is my first real texture for anything.
@Travesty9090 Thanks. I'll be trying to do all iron, then all steel, and basically work my way up the tiers.

Any suggestions for the next iron weapon to do?
