Been looking for a fix for the annoying combat music every time a mudcrab spots you.
But this mod goes too far, starting soothing fantasy tracks when you fight vampires or draugr is just irritating. And if you play with overhauls like Requiem, those monster types are really really dangerous even at level 20+
I agree with you. Keep in mind that ICM works like an ordinary music replacer. The vanilla music tracks only make a distinction between dragon combat and "other" combat. If you want a range of conditions you need a mod that ties the combat events to music tracks and therefore uses an esp. The one I am aware of is this one. Another way this can be achieved is by using a custom script, something I can't do unfortunately.
this is exactly what ive been looking for, thank you! but i want to see the videos u said u uploaded in the description but they aint there. Also i think its much better to keep combat music for larger battles, like dragon fights or 5+ enemies for example should trigger the normal combat music, which is pretty much what you have. Cheers!
Just found out this mod. First time I've been looking for it, even tho I'm getting really pissed off with combat music. I'm going to try it out but I'm sure it's a little but mandatory mod for me from now on. Thanks alot!
The description page is updated with a couple of Youtube links (I am not the uploader of the videos) in which you can hear some of the tracks I used. Please enjoy =)
Exactly! I didn't add any new tracks. All the tracks I used are present in the vanilla game. Even the misc. download is a vanilla track. If you don't like my track selection you can simply delete the files you downloaded - no impact on savegames whatsoever and the original fight tracks will continue playing (if you extracted the content of Skyrim-Sounds.bsa backup first).
