I like the Armor, but for some reason it isn't letting me upgrade the shadow version at the workbench. Says I don't have the perk to improve magical items. Which is somewhat odd, since I do have that perk, as well as every other smithing perk besides dragonbone. Is anyone else having this error?
So I'm not the only one with this issue, then. I thought I was going crazy in not being able to upgrade it. Sad that this is the case, but since it's a 3+ year old bug, looks like this may not be something that will be fixed...
thanks, i really wanted Dark style weapons mainly to replace Mjoll's Grimsever and this is really fine gear. extracted BSA and replaced vanilla weapons with this in mid-game, cheers! +k +e

@LuteHero - I know, it's made of malachite, a greenish more sustainable form of glass, yet I felt like some variety was in place when they do call it glass armor. They should've gone with malachite armor instead
