Hello i just want you to know that i like the crossbow bolts alittle more but the bolts don't show up i'm a bit worried that the image is not showing. But thank you for putting in the effort.
@Dubzac, see here man, this is how this mod's bolt/s should penetrate and of course penetration depends on the pen type. Try shooting a wooden material like barrel, chair, door, and etc. Lastly, shooting an npc to their chest or head sometimes, fired bolts burrow deep because they are most likely wearing a thick armor like plate armor, covering the parts of the bolt that's not burrowed. But try shooting them naked, you may see the fletching or the nock part of the bolt. I suggest you use the Bolt Pen 5 from this mod, because for me it's much more realistic than the others. I added the image from the forum thread to show the penetration of each mod-option (by ghosu)
for me, i think the 8-version is best (only "soft" surfaces like wooden planks or archery targets let the bolts penetrate slighty too much)
