It looks better in game than in the pics, I tried other mods before this one because it looked ugly in the pics, but I'm happy with it now. A few more containers in the main hall would be handy or if the ones at the ends of the halls were closer to the center, I'm too lazy to run all the way out there. Shield racks would be better in the weapons area for me.
I used Pretty Assassin Companion Ari (the follower has an optional file to apply her look as default mannequin) for nice female mannequin replacer, its so simple, easy, vanilla compatible, it actually works and its pretty enough that i almost want it as my PC.
I love this mod. I am one to change my mind about my player home A LOT either because I get bored with it or it's just me being picky. I downloaded a player castle mod and I loved it very much too because it had a lovely "living quarters" with a beautiful display of mannequins and display boxes, but the castle itself became too big for me to navigate around (and to get to in the Forgotten Vale). I like to display all of my different collected armors and clothing, and stuff you'll only find once in the game. With this mod, if I want to get to all of it it's all right there. Thank you for this brilliant mod!!
It is compatible with Hearthfire, but the portals are not in any of the Hearthfire houses. I should do a plugin for all the DLC's, but I've been too lazy
I plan on uploading alternative versions later this week, with changes to the mannequins. One version where there are no beast races and one where all the mannequins use the default mannequin race/skin, so that they all look the same. I know some of you don't like the "fleshy" mannequins and/or beast races.
It's quite impressive and I would like to know, about the "theming" if you plan to improve it.
BTW.. Do your mod have the disapearing issue I've seen in other mods? I would not like to gather everything again or worse, "cheat" using the Console to get items from places I have no access anymore.
I took a break from Skyrim, so I haven't worked on this mod for a while now. I'm now in the process of getting back in, installing some great mods I've missed and some old favorites, so I expect I'll start working on an update in the near future. I myself use the default version of this mod, with the fleshy mannequins, so that is the version I will be updating first, not sure if I'll touch the others. I also plan on adding a optional module to add support for all the DLC released.
MagnusThorek, I'm not sure what you mean by "disappearing issues". If that's a problem that exists in the vanilla game, it will likely happen in my mod as well, since I use vanilla assets. I'm not sure, but I believe I had some of the armor pieces disappear from my mannequins when I was playing, but I've been unable to replicate this in my testing, so I'm not sure if I just imagined it.
It would be great if someone could test it out and see if something like that happens to them and report it.
Great, looking forward for an new version. Had a long break from Skyrim, too. And just started to get back in game today. My girlfriend is off for a week in London and it's so hot here in Germany, impossible to leave the house + just finished my latest project at work, so it's perfect Skyrim-Time.
Although you chose strange weapon arrangement (I prefer to group weapons by material) this home fits perfectly as it has 8-slot racks. The endorsement is yours

Maybe one thing which could be changed: One more room for armor and one more room for weapons at the ends of the hallway instead of the two chests. And four chests directly besied the portals, so you can go fast in and store stuff and go out via the portal.
