HI, Great nice work. can i have permission to convert this to sse, or at least attempt it;)
update: weapons converted to sse, looking very cool .again great work..love hellraiser stuff, ive even converted the films music into my skyrim:) all converted couple of texture problems with some outfits ,maybe fixable,. quest appears via mysterious man in whiterun ,trying to find the location now^^ cant wait to open the box!
Ive also added my edit of the theme music from hellraiser that starts when you enter the dungeon^^ its a nice dark instrumental classic, fits perfect. also i really like lucia red character, im going to try a retuxure currently have him as a follower:) dude im uploading this later for sse, hope its ok it promotes your work and id like to work on it further with you
it is a fun mod i like the set up would have liked to used the box to go to hell the same map got a bit dull the sound clips from are a nice touch 3 neils to the head out of 5
your point has been noted but I'm afraid its going to be a while before I update any mods. Im currently knee deep in Final Fantasy XII for PS2, then I have the new planet downloaded for KOTOR 2 The Sith Lords, and finally by the time I'm done with them Dragonborn should be out so yeah gonna be a while before any updates lolol
Not bad, but may I suggest a few things? First, health values usually go between 100 to 1000 (and 1k is still a lot). So if you're going to add a lot of enemies, I'd suggest you either lower their health, or lower the enemies in the room.
I'd just lower the enemy count to... 3 per room. And also Remove EVERY light, just leave a torch at the start room, in case the player goes without torches. Make the cenobites essential, and drop the keys somewhere in a room.
Well, I'm just saying... after all, it's YOUR mod and you decide how it works... but in my opinion, the enemies were WAY TOO OVERPWERED.
Well 4 levels of the same thing isn't really a plus. I would suggest you take a look at mods like The 5th Gate where much and careful attention has been paid to creating imaginative dungeons with great atmosphere. You don't need a heap of the same enemies when the environment does a lot of the work in creeping you out. A few powerful and uniquely skilled enemies befitting of the cenobytes would be better than a flood of carbon-copies.
Anyway I appreciate your efforts and I hope you can make a truly Hellraising mod.
I hear what your saying man and I take all criticism constructively but your comment makes me wonder if I have uploaded an old version of this mod by mistake. There should be four levels to the dungeon, I have added normal maps to stop the textures of the skinless being bright red and Pinhead has never had an elven helmet in any version of this mod lmao. He should have nails in his head like the image lol dont know whats going on there.
Being a fan of the original Hellraiser I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this mod.
-The 3 levels of the dungeon are identical copies, and are just plain ol Skyrim forts, no effort was made to make them even appear otherworldly, or hell-like.
-There's no variety to the enemies, and their textures really needs a lot more work. The skinned ones needs more contrast so they don't look just blaring bright red. The cenobytes just look like pale bald dudes. There's none of the mutilations or deformities that are synonymous with them.
-Pinhead is just another one of these cenobyte-wanna-bes with an elven helmet?
I understand that modding is a lot of work and I know I'm being critical but this just fell far short of the mark, sorry.
