You just said Skyrim is period accurate.. It's a fantasy game, sooo it really doesn't have to follow all of the real life events now does it? (Refer to all the mystical things in the game)
I think the point Raglof was making is that "period accurate" is a misnomer to begin with, because there is no real life period from which to draw comparisons considering The Elder Scrolls is pure fantasy with no basis in reality. It's not medieval just because there's armor and swords and such, it's absolutely 100% fantasy.

Wish there was also a mod like this for Greybeard robes, I want it to be black/dark but the only mods out there are waay to black. The light version of this was good.
I just got a new PC so finally everything is on Ultra and of course this mod is being downloaded once again.This is a mod must have and should have gotten more support I can't play with those shitty looking vanilla robes-Downloading #2
