What Fr0zen1 said: it works! I like vanilla skyrim with CoT, Real Water2, and SFO. All I needed were shadows that didn't strobe like some kind of primitive Las Vegas casino marquee, and this mod does just that and no more. I didn't really want the DoF setting, but it seems very subtle and has a natural feel to it. Great job, Frank!!! (PS: I'm using ENB 0.319, I do not have RCRN installed.) EDIT: I removed the DoF for this mod and used McFly's DoF for ENB instead. The two mods work together well.
In the End, I found this and it works. I pretty much had given up, after Days of trying and failing I thought its the fault of my AMD Graphics Card but THIS WORKS :)
Found a solution. I just updated my Enb files, overwrote them with yours, appart from the enbeffectprepass.fx. With the newer versions of this file I can configure my DOF how I want.
Not sure if I ever commented, but this was the first ENB I tried, and was the starting point of my inspiration to make ENBs. I love simply improving the game's looks as opposed to completely changing them, and this nails that. I used this for quite some time before making my own. Cheers.
This works for me using latest enb, I was using "realvision" but got sick of the over saturated colours, I installed this over the top of realvision, works like a charm and fps have shot through the roof !
I was anxious to try this when i found it, but like everything else i've tried, it sadly doesn't fix the flickering interior shadows... Is this something you could make it do?
Terrific work buddy! all I wanted from ENB was the shadow enhancements it offered, to fix those goddamn disgusting vanilla ones! I'm too ENB illiterate to change all the values etc, this is exactly what I wanted, endorsed! thank you very much <3
Perfect, Just what I was looking for. I use this with Climates of Tamriel, Enhanced Lighting FX, and CLO custom lighting overlay and get the look I want without using all the crazy ENB's that are out there. I have over 90 mods, and every HD 2k-8k texture I can find and this thing works perfect. I will try to add some nice screens when I get a chance. I spent 2 days sifting through all the top ENB's before I found this combo. Bravo ! Endorsed !

If you ever work on another project, a version of this with god rays would be awesome. I cant figure out how to add them without overwriting your dof and I won't sacrifice that.
No idea why anybody would use an 8k texture, there would be noticeable quality enhancement from 4k and only a little from 2k, but there would be major performance impacts
I agree, I actually have a BEAST rig and I still only use 1k - 2k textures. You can rarely tell, ESPECIALLY if using ENB or Fxaa sharpness..as it makes the textures appear better even...and a much lower performance cost.
