You can solve the bug of not follwing you by clicking him with the console and changing his race to DLC1DeathHoundCompanionrace. I did that and he is following me without problems to anywhere.
My question is. When I came out of the place where you get the dog he did not follow. Same when I went into the secret entrance to the vampire castle. Whats up with that?
WOW this is excellent. I to had a little trouble getting him to follow,using UFO I told him to stay close and avoid battle. He didnt follow right away but then I hear him growling at the city gates. This is a smart mod, he doesnt follow you into tight places which is good because of his size. and if you lose him just fast travel and he comes back. I use this mod with vrsn 1.9 and he's followed me to wyrmstooth, and falskar, though not right away you have to fast travel to get him after going through the portal. I endorse this mod. his voice is reasonable though could be a bit more menacing but I wouldnt change a thing. I would add armour if I had the skill or at least collars but im not a mod builder Only request would be If I could have two of him as this would follow the lore of my character nicely. But again thank you and keep it up.
I'll just ask form him to use the same textures has any deathhound so we can use any retextures here on the nexus and also correct the is race so he does follows you. That in my opinion would be enough, thank you for this amazing mod.
