(Edit) So it's made the file after I figured out how to path it correctly and reconstructed the profiles. But, now whenever I boot the game, it remakes the old save file and loads from there, so nothing is separated in the actual game, but the separate actual files still exist. When I try to set a preexisting profile to active, it say I "can't create a profile when it already exists", so I've either done something wrong, or everything, and I'm fairly sure it's the latter.
Sorry this may be super noob, but i am also super tired. But I can't find how to actually activate this mod. I am using NMM and i can't seem to locate any new save options.
I can't seem to get this addon to work; not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've installed it via the manager, but am I supposed to launch Skyrim via the normal means or through SKSE or what?

hey so i figured it out. If you download it manually with WinRAR just open the file and double click on the main file "skyrim profile manager" and it should start it up
Once you press "Set profile" you can run Skyrim however you want. You can use integrated EXE launcher, or launch it manually through any number of available methods.

Damn sorry to hear about your saves. Might wanna share what was that unrelated issue? I'm curious, and others might benefit from advice as well.
Cross pollination, LOL. You say, only one single save shows up in another char's profile? That's weird. Should not happen... Maybe you had spaces in the character's save (before using manager)?
You can manually sort it out through folders yourself, it's all cool. Just don't rename any folders, and it's fine.
Finally a profile manager! I have one issue though. How do I add folders of profiles (that I created manually before downloading this) to the Profile Manager as a new profile to choose from?

I'm too afraid that if i just delete the folder, that my saves will get wiped
However I found that for step 2 I had to set the path to my savegame folder rather than the folder containing my .ess and .skse files.
Hope this helps anyone who's having trouble.
