This is an AWESOME little mod. I think you should link to a few other mods that can use your textures, obviously Weapons of The Third Era but also Heavy Armory, since it uses in game meshes and textures to form its weapons it works PERFECTLY with this mod (and it is also designed to be used with Third Era)
Also, Amidianborn's Iron and Banded Armor re-texture (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19340) compliments your weapon textures excellently.

This is a good idea, but it's just a simple recolor. I mean no offense by this. But I must ask, do you plan on re-doing the texture all together? If not then why not use the most popular WRP weapon retexture project by Millenia here on the nexus, all you'd have to do is recolor his textures. He pretty much abandoned Skyrim, he's more than likely not going to come back since he has no interest in Skyrim (he has stated). So I would recommend starting there. It would make things better, they would look better going with the popular aMidianBorn textures, at least until CaBaL gets around to finishing the weapon sets that go with the armor sets.
I am in no way an artist, I am simply fixing the colours to be more accurate to iron (one wonders if the people at bethesda have ever even seen anything made of iron). In addition to the recolour, I am also reducing the shine map. The WRP only had 3 iron weapons in the pack and they look quite good without my intervention so people can choose those or mine.
