Not sure what is going on, unfortunately when I try to ride him, I just shake next to him, then it fails each time. I'm unsure what is going on, I do have SKSE that I am using instead of the main game, could that be the issue?
Almost four years too late of a reply. But if anyone else has this issue just open the console, type 'help unicorn' and 'player.placeatme' then the id for the uni. Should have a second, fully functioning uni!
I love this horse, i think hes a perfect fit for the dark brotherhood besides shadowmere
but sadly he didn't come with his armor...did i miss something? do i somehow have to equip it on him? or did i miss something to install with the mod
When i downloaded it i didn't see any requirements so i just figured he would come with the armor, but sadly i didn't see it on him...
i searched the camp to make sure there wasn't a chest or a body to loot that would have had his armor and then i would be able to equip it but no such luck
is this a bug? or am i completely missing something?
With the convenient horses mod you can actually add an armor/saddle. When installed click esc -> go to "mod configuration" -> "convenient horses" -> "horses" -> and on the right, where it says "horse equipment" you can choose what ever you like (dark brotherhood looks epic).
I'm thinking about doing a retexture for the black unicorn. I love it, but I think it's too dark, you can barely see any details. :/
Edit: I just saw, that the saddles don't fit to the unicorn's mesh. :/
I love the look of this mount. It is absolutely gorgeous.
I just wish there was a version that put it somewhere else. Somewhere a little more hidden, like an easter egg. I like to make new characters on a pretty regular basis and finding this awesome mount immediately after starting the game every time quickly led to it feeling significantly less special.
People often place less value on things they don't have to work for.
