My laptop which could play Skyrim is broken beyond hope. I do not foresee affording a replacement anytime in the near future. Therefore let this notice supersede any previous permissions settings...
This mod, resource and/or tutorial is to be considered "open permission". Do what you wish, upload where you wish, so long as you give credit where it is due. Thank you.
This and the keyring are essential to any sane game...a shame that you will not port them to SSE :(. Thank you for making them, I wish I knew how to port them
Regarding Skyrim Special Edition: I have no plans to port this mod to SSE. If anyone wishes to take the ideas of this mod to create and support their own variation on SSE, feel free to do so.
To be honest I have no plans to revisit this particular mod. I did this more as a here is what is possible type of thing. I'm not good with the graphic stuff to pull off an appropriate looking satchel, backpack, etc. So I just applied some script ideas I had at the time to what I could scrounge up from the stock meshes.
I do have some other bag of holding, crafting access type of stuff in the works but it is all on hold unfortunately. My laptop graphics gave out. The backup laptop I'm stuck using is older and isn't really able to play the game. Creation Kit works, but testing out the theories is nigh impossible.
Feel free to adapt this as necessary to your needs. Shoot if you get something working go ahead and upload it.
nooooooo ;w; no wonder you havent released anything in a short while.....dam you......well if you decide to make something and have no way of teasing i could give you a hand testing it out and stuff. as for creating a proper looking satchel why don't you just request the use of the bandoliers from bags and bandoliers by Dragten? i'm sure he'd be willing to allow you to expand upon his original mod to create a fully functioning satchel/bag/bandolier that not only functions as a bag that holds stuff in your inventory but also adds physical functionality to it where you wear the bag that's holding said items.
this is my thread if you're willing to take a look at it and tell me if what i'm putting out there is at all possible even if you're not up for the task i'd like to know if it's POSSIBLE.
The thing about using other people's stuff... Well it boils down to the simple fact that I do the modding first for myself. If I use someone else's assets it is because I'm using their mod anyway. I have yet to find any type of backpack, satchel or other potential mesh that I would like to see on my character. Some are fine for interaction purposes but the visual appeal when worn just isn't there for me.
What I really want is the alchemy satchel. The one whose mesh I used as the ground object. I could never get a working wearable form. My strengths seem to be in scripting at least more so than 3d editing.
alright thanks and why not ask someone else to do the 3d modeling for you then? i'm sure you could come about with something great if you partnered up with someone strong in the visual aspects of the mod. i myself would love to do it but....i don't know how to mod at all ;w; i'm actually going to school for game art and design so maybe with in the next like half a year i'll be back here asking NEED HELP NOW? lol
whats the update with this mod? i actually posted a request for a mod just like this on the forums yet no one seems to care enough to even repsond to it. then i realized you already had a semi working version of the mod i came up with lol. i'd really like to see an update to this since SKSE has had an update or two sine this mod's creation.
@Hupfstrudel Not really. At least not with my knowledge. If SKSE could someday come up with a way to deactivate storage without canceling retrieval once X amount of capacity has been reached, then maybe. Till then it would require listing every single item in the game and counting how much weight has been put in etc... This is why I limited such a scenario to alchemy supplies only.

I will look at your thread.
