Im trying to use this sound on the bows in Oblivion too, but it just comes up silent. Anyone know why? Oblivion is fine using wav files so Im not sure why its not working. Ive tried replacing the default file path and also made a mod... neither has worked.

As an archer in-game, I got really tired of hearing the vanilla sound effect. This mod adds a very nice, realistic, and highly satisfying sound that make firing my bow a lot more pleasant. Thanks so much for this mod!
There's a slight delay between shooting the arrow and the sound playing. I think the start of the audio file has a few milliseconds of silence. I was trying this mod out and VR and it's really noticeable there.
there aren't ever any significant compatibility issues when it comes to sound replacers. it's just that the bow firing sound file from immersive weaponry is overwritten by this if you install it after that mod.

Using MO2, a different sound plays in its place.
This mod is at the very bottom of load order.
