Smelting stuff is great idea, but implementation is not so much.
-Cuirass, hammer, dagger, or whatever - everything gives 1 ingot instead of same amount as for creation.(Cuirass = 4, dagger = 1 etc) So only viable option to melt daggers, then why did you add everything else? -Glass can't be melted? In TES lore glass armor is not out of generic glass. 'Glass' used for smithing is a transparent metal, it's specifically stated in a book of smithing you can find in skyrim. -All Elven stuff is melted into copper for some reason, instead of material it's made of. -Why did you change some vanilla smithing recipes?
In version 1.0.0 every extra stuff was deleted, and everything was just as you said. If you need only that - you could use this version, i hadn't deleted it.
No I don’t mean melting special weapons I mean a version of this mod with JUST sword and armor melting for normal ingots. I do not want these other changes like copper, tin, vodka, spirits etc. and changes to sellers I have mods that do such things, I also do not want changes to the amount of required pieces of ore to make ingots.
I love your idea but I don’t really want these extra things I just want to smelt weapons and armor back into their ingots even reduced by an ingot is fine or for full ingots I don’t care.
I hope that is more clear, please just if it is not too much trouble just these:
- To melt iron weapon, armor, shields and bows into iron ingots. - To melt steel weapon, armor, shields and bows into steel ingots. - To melt dwarven weapon, armor, shields and bows into dwarven ingots. - To melt orc weapon, armor, shields and bows into orichalcum ingots. - To melt ebony weapon, armor, shields and bows into ebony ingots. - To melt silver rings and amulets into silver ingots. - To melt golden rings and amulets into golden ingots.
And any others you wish to add like melt Elven etc.
I love the idea but is there any chance of getting a version that just adds in the melting/dismanteling of items (only those on the crafting list)? I would rather not have any extras but I really want to melt down my extra gear (especially ebony) for ingots to upgrade other gear.
You mean some special? No. Just standard or modified.
