Sorry things are taking so long, but, working full time in a job with a lot of physical labor both takes up your time, and just drains you. Hopefully, my repack shall be done soon.
Wonderful mod, I really, really wanted to use her becaue I roleplay my character as a Demigod (the son of Meridia), but was disappointed there is a constant vortex effect surrounding her, that’s a deal breaker for me since my machine is not the fastest rig around. If possible please make a version that doesn’t have this effect for us poor saps who want to enjoy this companion but may not have the strongest PC. Great work anyway.
Wow. Definitely glad you enjoyed it. At the moment, I've been taking somewhat of a break from Skyrim so I can get into the swing of things for my new classes. Though, I should be returning to it (And the CK) by the end of the month.
I am so blown away at this particular follower and really like what you have done with her. In a eerie yet very exciting way, I believe this follower was tailored made for my character.
Please allow me to explain the corresponding lore we share....
A while back I created a character named Xe'na "Warrior of Light" and handpicked several popular mods to help role play her story. She was a beautiful young redguard who grew up as an orphaned and was raised by the Vigiliants of Stendarr. (Live Another Life mod: she once called home the ruins Fulmine stood in at the opening of your story) She dedicated her life to the Vigilant's cause and grew into a very talented warrior though hot headed and strong willed as she was. She believed all vigilant doctrine and dogma that deadra are inherently evil and should be banished and their worshippers and wretched spawn with them. As stated earlier she was very talented at accomplishing this. (Level 45 spell sword relying completely on skyre's restoration and light weaponry skill trees, it was something to behold man I wish I'd recorded some of it :-( )
Anyways...
Then one day while opening a chest at the Hall of the Vigilants she uncovered a pristine shining white beacon. Upon touching it ushered a gallant yet benevolent female voice charging Xe'na to return the beacon to her temple. The daedra prince Meridia gave no concessions to Xe'na's alignment to a guild sworn to eradicate her kind from existence. In contrary, it was as if Meridia had known this day would come to pass, as if she had been observing Xe’na waiting... patiently. Xe'na wrestled spiritually with this strange encounter for some time but in silence. She knew her radical brothers and sisters of the order would not greet her experience well. For it is forbidden to even converse with daedra, let alone run an errand for one. Some like Heinrich (the quest giver for the Vigilants of Stendarr quest mod) may even use this opportunity to inflict their jealous wrath on her in disguise of Stendarr’s justice for a heretic daedra spy. But more vitally than excommunication and even death, she feared being separated from the only family she’d ever known. Xe’na pondered more on Meridia’s words as they played over in her head. “And I will make you the instrument of my cleansing light”. Surely this could not be the ambitions of an utterly vile and evil creature she thought. The peacefulness that accompanied the chance meeting, the radiance of pure light that adorned the beacon, the clarity of purpose heard in Meridia’s angelic voice could not be denied. Clarity she has never felt from the many assignments of thoughtless executions ordered by men who claim to speak on behalf of a merciful god. At that instance, Xe’na knew what she had to do and in the wee hours of a Frostfall morning, Xe’na packed all the supplies she can carry including a large white beacon and headed towards the capital city of Skyrim……. To be continued NOT!! My computer basically went mayday on me around the time I was just getting Xe’na to a daedra/human form complete with the blazing eyes Fulmine has. To finish up, while my gaming rig is being upgraded, I will definitely be tracking this character as she will be play a vital role in one of Xe’na’s story arch. With the new rig I’ll be replaying Xe’na character from scratch and recording every moment in an epic let’s play I’ll host on my youtube channel. It would be great if you can get a voice for Fulmine and even some quest it will definitely make my let’s plays. Well I hope you enjoyed this book I wrote you lol and I can’t wait to see where this mod goes, good luck learning the creation kit and much success in everything you put your mind to do.
Its pretty easy. Everything is run by a quest. Dialogue can be conditioned in 'conditions' e.g. once quest stage reaches 10 certain dialogue appears. Thus allowing progression. I made a slightly expanded companion once.
I'm still pretty new to modding, so I'm currently going through and trying to learn to script quests. That way, each of the follower's I've created would have an associated recruitment quest.
Once I've got the quests themselves scripted, I could move on to voicing the followers as well. Though, yea, I plan to add little trinkets and whatnot to the characters inventories also.
Hi. I think you could try to expand her character a little more.. Perhaps add a journal to her inventory? Also maybe an intro dialogue and then you're off!
I tend to avoid Nexus and steam when it comes to uploading my mods, Just a quick thought you might want to check the others you posted and make sure they are fine. Glad to see you figured that out before it was to late.

I look forward to more updates. Tracking.
