Just out of nostalgia... This was the first mod, which ever found its way into my modlist... Must have been back in 2013, when I initially got Skyrim Legendary for my PC. One of the best 30 Euros, I ever spent.
I still know it as if it was yesterday: I made my way through the main quest, companions, and dozens of other immersive things; the entire world felt so huge, so immense. In these days, I used to play the game unmodded in german; didn't want anything to narrow down my experience :D
And then (I actually don't know how it happened) I stumbled upon nexusmods.com. I didn't know if mods could indeed work, thus I encountered this page with a big amount of scepticism. So I found this one and dropped it in the data folder, started the game and... There it was. As solid as rock, a dock for my Skyrim home beneath the alchemy tower.
Now, about 750 hours later, I start my last playthrough. (I have to move on ;( ) Of course I'll also add the first one to my 200+ Skyrim. And guess what? It was just yesterday, that I discovered an entirely new vanilla radiant quest. I had to take down a skooma drug ring.... I just love this game and this community.
Oh man. That is awesome. Thank you for that. Oddly enough I only JUST came back to Skyrim modding. Took a looooong break to play and mod Fallout 4. Then I got an itch and I'm back to it.
I haven't downloaded this mod yet but I'm getting ready to. I'm glad you made this mod for lakeview. It really makes having Hearthfire worth it. I do have one question. One of my other mods has replaced that weird necromancer with another NPC Carmella. It think it's one of the mods made by Thirteen Oranges in the steam workshop. Will your mod conflict with anything that might be in that spot?
I was wondering why there wasn't any dock of any sorts for Lakeview. I mean the other houses had something "unique" but what about Lakeview? Great job. You got another endorsement
Pretty much an auto endorse! I really hated that alter there. Bethesda really screwed up on this one. Love this mod as it really takes that little uneasy thought at the back of your mind.
looks cool, my one question is, is this a type of shelter where rain does not get into? you know, a lot of the non-closed cell shelters, you still get wet even though a roof type thing is over your head. does the shack block the rain?
No. This will (unless you have a mod that prevents it) let in the rain. But to be fair, the roof is just spaced out boards, so I suspect it would anyway.
You did a great job on the alter, I love it. im no good at making Mods and I was wondering if you could do something about the wolf den near lakeview manor. my thoughts were to have a path that works with lakeview road mod and have it lead to a hunters shack that is there. give it a working door and inside a bed, table and chairs, fireplace with cooking pot, dresser, end table, chest, and a few working weapon racks. Put a butcher shed attached to the side or back of the house. the shed is open door (like the one by half moon mill just less creepy) with a cutting table and hanging meat racks that hold rabbits and pheasants. meats respawn daily as if someone is putting fresh kills there. the table has a knife and embalming sheers to prep the meat. in the actual wolf den area there is a hanging rack with a hanging deer that can be butchered every couple days too. leave the bones on the ground and the blood because it keeps the atmosphere of it being where you butcher animals but get rid of the damaged cart and chest area. put a chopping block somewhere with a rabbit on it and a log bench to sit on. Have a tanning rack by the shack for leather and a chest for a meat locker near the butcher shed. Keep it simple. keep the wolves respawning to act like scavangers that are trying to steal your meat. This means we cant have a camp fire because wolves are afraid of fire. one last thing, if it is at all possible could you make it so a follower(any) can be hired for the hunters shack to hunt and protect the area from scavengers. If you could make that possible I would be extremely happy. thanks for this download! I love how it fits with my house. works great .no issues!
A very simple mod that makes lakeview manor much much more pleasant. The necromancer next to the most otherwise tranquil house was a really questionable choice by bethesda.
fyi though, there's quite a few dirty edits that could be cleaned with tesv cleaner
I installed this mod yesterday alongside themadpickler's Lakeview Manor Road and they complement each other quite well. They both add to the aesthetic appeal of the area, without going overboard in the way a lot of Lakeview Manor-centric mods do. Very glad to have found this one.

Danke, dass du diese Erinnerung geteilt hast.
And yes, she will still be there if you remove the altar. Use the version that doesn't replace it.
PS.... Sorry for the spelling errors.
