Convert Music For Skyrim

Notes:

-The directories text file contains a list of all the folders and file names for songs you want to replace.

-You will need the audio file(s) you wish to use in .wav form. If you have files you wish to use that are in mp3 format you can convert them to .wav using this free and open source software --> http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1: Place your wave file(s) into the CMFS folder.
Step 2: Open the "convert" file. This will convert your audio files into .xwm.
Step 3: Use the directories text file to correctly rename your .xwm audio file and place it into the proper directory in your Skyrim Data folder.

Example:

Let's say you wish to replace the theme song which plays during the main menu. The directories file shows it as follows:

Directory of \Data\music\special

mus_maintheme.xwm

Simply place your .wav file into the CMFS folder and open the "convert" batch file. This will convert the file and place it in the same folder. Now rename the converted audio file to "mus_maintheme". Then put it into \Data\music\special in the Skyrim folder. You may need to create the music folder in the data folder and special folder in the music folder. Then you're done.
