This is an older mod but I just wanted to give others a heads up. I spent the last 2 days trying to figure out why I couldn't start Skyrim. It turned out whenever I enable/installed than 4 of these 'Lore-Worthy' mods, I get an instant CTD. I have over 300 mods installed and maybe it's a conflict with a specific one, but once I removed all of them, the game worked fine. It also worked fine when I added up to 3 of them after I tried different combinations, but when I added anymore, my game crashed. Again, this is just a heads up. Here's a list of the mods:
Thanks, now all we need is a kick-ass remesh and retexture. This thing looks aweful! If anyone knows of a replacer PLEASE let the forum know. I'll do a little hunting & see what I can dig up.
Thank you for this, I've been playing Skyrim since release, but only just started using a character that uses daggers. I liked the look of Nettlebane, but the enchantment made little sense. I could see it draining any life, it would seem like a poisonous weapon, but your enchantment makes more sense. Thank you again.
A lot of weapon mods will over write this mods modifications. I use TES5edit to manually patch it to make it work together. It's not very hard to do once you wrap your head around the UI.
I like jabberwockxeno's idea of poison, but think it should be added on top. Actually I will probably do this anyway using your mod in the CK.
Could you also change the weight? I always found Nettlebane not worth carrying because it is too heavy for a dagger. How about 3 instead of 10? The daggers of the Jaysus weapons mod are 3 so this would make it comparable to them.
This mod will be incompatible with any mod that directly modifies Nettlebane. Other than that, it shouldn't conflict with anything. Load this mod last in your load order and it should be okay.
@Zeraj
Actually, the enchantment wasn't tied to destruction, I just gave the dagger too few charges. I've updated the enchantment to not consume charges as some compensation for it's relative weakness.
@Restutitor Otis BOSS ordered this mod somewhere up pretty high in my load order and I think possibly one of my crafting mods or Weapons & Armor Fixes cancelled out the enchantment. When I moved this mod to the bottom of my load order it worked correctly.
@nbm5 I just tried this mod and it seems to have no effect whatsoever. Is there any special load order required or is it known to be incompatible with another mod?
